What's The Loading Screen?

Remember blowing into cartridges, agonizing over dial-up speeds, and devouring every pixel of those glorious 80s and 90s games? Yeah, us too. We lived for arcades, PC gaming's dawn, console wars, and the birth of the internet. Back then, time was a mere suggestion. Three lives and no save function? No problem! Waiting two hours for a one-minute game clip download? Worth it!

Then, life happened. Families, dream jobs (the time-consuming kind), and all the responsibilities that come with being a grown-up. We still game, but those marathon sessions are a distant memory. Now, it's snatched moments: a quick quest during lunch, a level before bedtime, maybe a couple of hours after the kids are finally asleep. Time is definitely a factor.

So, while we still crave those immersive gaming experiences, we need to know: Can we realistically fit this game into our lives? Can we get a satisfying session in before dinner? Will we be staring at the loading screen more than actually playing? Is finishing this game in the next year even a remote possibility?
